Pennsylvania 2016: Adventure Aquarium

So the Adventure Aquarium isn't actually in Pennsylvania, it's in Camden, NJ, but it's so close that we went anyways.

As we pulled into one of the many parking lots, we realized the kids were both napping.  I strongly believe in the old adage of never waking a sleeping baby and they had a long morning at the Please Touch Museum so I knew they needed to rest a bit. Dave and I just hung out in the car talking about the trip and with each other.  I love a good pause.

Since we were traveling with my cousins, we woke them after about 40 minutes.  Long enough to get enough sleep without being grumpy towards us! Ha.

Once again, we were able to rent a stroller right off the bat. I usually babywear in our Lillebaby, but I wanted the kids to be able to run around and play today, so we threw the carrier on top of the carriage so we had both options.

It really was an awesome aquarium. Lots of different animals, multiple children's play places, a huge slide outside, that Emma was brave enough to go down alone, and a shark bridge you could walk over.  While Emma was able to do the huge slide, she wasn't loving the shark bridge so we sat that part out.

My favorite part was the tank tunnel but I think their favorite part was the touch tank- Tyler even tried to take off his shoes and hop in!

For more information on visiting Adventure Aquarium, check out their site here.

The Aquarium itself is right on the Delaware River, with lots of benches to sit and enjoy the view. It was a great way to rest our feet after walking around all day.

We finished our day with the famous Rita's Water Ice and oh my gosh, was it everything I was told it would be! Did you know you can get an ice flight? Amazing.

Both kids were excited to head back to Sesame Place the next morning!

CHeck out the rest of our trip as well! Sesame PlaceHershey Park and the Please Touch Museum!
