The Princess Sings Let It Go

I don't know about your kids but my daughter is obsessed with Frozen.
Like sings long, does the dances, and will tell everyone round her "sssshhhhhh" while she sings it.
The Disney Gals were hosting a contest for the best performance of Let It Go so I hit record as she started to sing...

Are you even remotely surprised she won?
I can't wait for her Frozen prize pack to come in the mail!

Annie's Frozen Dinners

As a member of Inluenster, I constantly get to try out really great products!

The newest product was Annie's Homegrown Real Food Frozen Dinners!
I've always had a bit of an aversion to frozen dinners.
I can cook, I'm good, I'd rather just cook it myself, so I was a bit weary about trying it.
However, my siblings swear by Annie's Macaroni and Cheese so I figured why not!

Here's my secret though.. I don't like cheese! Gasp, I know! But I was happy to see that Annie's made more than just mac and cheese and immediately grabbed the Lasagna.

 And the end result...

We had lasagna on a week night, after I worked all day! And it was delicious!
Lasagna usually takes forever to make but this was super simple and both the Princess and the Hubs enjoyed it! He even packed the leftovers for work the next day!

Give it a try, oh, and click on this link and save $2!

Disclaimer: I was given free product from Influenster in exchange for my opinions. All thoughts are my own.

Baby Update: 33 Weeks!

How far along? 33 weeks!
Symptoms: Huge belly. Exhaustion. The usual. This week I dealt with a lot of soreness down there. Best described as being kicked really hard or having had waaaay too much sex.
Total weight gain/loss: +10
Maternity clothes? Lots of maternity. Although I wish I could live in yoga pants and long sleeves or sweatshirts. I just want to be comfy.
Sleep:  Most nights are good, we pushed Emma back into her own bed and we're going strong with no more "mama snuggles".  It's been hard for both of us, but it's good.
Best moment this week:  My students had MCAS this week and after doing the long comp they came into class and said "Your prep was so much harder than the actual test!" I'm glad they felt confident!
Movement: So much fluttering so so so low. It's like ripples and bubbles but not in my stomach, more all the way down.  he's definitely getting lower!
Food cravings:  Cherry limeades, barbeque chicken salads, sandwiches, etc, and fruit!
Gender: Boy!
Labor Signs: Nope, but I am getting random lightening crotch pains so that sucks.
Belly Button in or out?  In. But way shallower.
What I miss: My clean house.  It's been 2 weeks of crazy packing and upheaval. I just want the mess to go away so the anxiety can go away.
What I am looking forward to: Closing on the house on Friday!
Weekly Wisdom:  Frozen is the greatest Disney movie made in the past 10 years.  We've watched it four times this week.  If you haven't seen it, you need to.
Milestones:  I can still paint my own toe nails!

Packing & Purging

Just so we all know, packing sucks.  It's exhausting.
I did a TON of packing this weekend and there's still more to do!

Thankfully, I've been able to purge a ton as I pack.
Lots of junk... papers, books, things that were forgotten.
Lots of donatable stuff... toys, outgrown clothes, things we replaced but never tossed, etc.

However, there are some things that I think are just too pretty to give away.
I posted them all on my Instagram account  if you're interested in picking yourself up something super cute for super cheap!

But I know not everyone feels like buying things right now so I'm also giving away a box o stuff! Expect nail polish, make up, samples, etc... fill out the rafflecopter and good luck!

Giveaway only runs until Friday (I don't want to pack it up!) and you must have a continental US address!

Baby Update: 32 Weeks

Baby Update: 32 Weeks

How far along? 32 weeks, only 8 to go!
Symptoms: Huge belly. Exhaustion. The usual.
Total weight gain/loss: +10

Maternity clothes? More often than not. I finally caved into my first pair of legit maternity pants this week. My normal jeans still fit but the full belly panel covers up the fat bump that is like sticking out UNDER my shirt...
Sleep:  Could be way worse.  Starting to get that "mind is rushing in 50,000 different ways constantly and sometimes when I wake up to go to the bathroom, those thoughts occupy my mind for an extra hour before falling back to sleep."
Best moment this week:  We got our official clear to close! Just over a week and we'll be closing on our first house! Also, dinner out with a bunch of way amazing bloggers last night.  I felt SO out of my league with them but it was amazing!
Movement: He's starting to slow down. Less flips and more stretching across the entire stomach trying to get more room.  Also, some wonderful ripples down my whole body.
Food cravings:  Potato chips, mexican food, fried seafood. Nothing insatiable, I just find myself thinking of foods and then wanting them immediately.
Gender: Boy!
Labor Signs: Nope, and it needs to stay that way.
Belly Button in or out?  In. But way shallower.
What I miss: Bending over.  I'm finally at the point where if I try and bend over while sitting the stomach makes it too uncomfy. Also, alcohol. At dinner last night, two people had blueberry Seadogs and they smelled so good!
What I am looking forward to: Packing! Got all of the Princess' room done yesterday so today I'll tackle the guest room and bathroom closets!
Weekly Wisdom:  Target sales are awesome. Also, they make sparkle topcoat for bedroom walls. Not wisdom but everyone needs to know.
Milestones:  At BJ's, I was grabbing a case of water and a random guy grabbed it for me, saying it was too heavy for a pregnant lady to pick up! First time it's happened!

Baby Comfy Nose: Colds Suck

I don't know about you but I am done with winter.
We went from 50 degrees and doing yard work on Saturday, to snow coming tomorrow.
The worst part of it is that the rapid changes in temperature seems to lead to so many more colds!

The worst part of the cold is my 2 year old dragging her arm across her nose trying to get rid of her boogers and getting nice smears of mucus across her face! Gross!

Thankfully, the Baby Comfy Nose helps solve this problem!
No more fighting over tissues or trying to shove that big blue aspirator in her nose...

Istead, you use your own brath to pull the snots right out!
I will admit I was nervous at first-- what if they went in my mouth?!

But Baby Comfy Nose has a great design and a filter so there's no fear of snots!

Even pediatricians are recommending this great product!

You can use the code USFAMILY at www.comfybabycare.com and save 20% or head to your local Walgreens to get the best retail pricing!

Baby Update: 31 Weeks

How far along? 31 Weeks - I forgot to post last week, it's been crazy around here!
Symptoms: Pregnancy brain, I've been a bit more stressed out lately, and my right hip constantly feels like it's popping out.  Looks like a chiro visit is in my future.
Total weight gain/loss: +7
Maternity clothes? Still able to wear my pre-preg pants! I just have them below my bump.  I'm in mostly maternity shirts but a few of my longer pre-preg shirts still are long enough so my belly isn't hanging out the bottom. As much as I'm loving leggings, I can not wait for the warmer weather so I can wear cute dresses all of April.
Sleep:  Really happy with how well I've been sleeping still. However, because of so much stress between work and my Masters I find I'm exhuasted all day, even if I do only wake up once a night. Last night I fell asleep at 8:15 with Emmalee. I'm okay with it.
Best moment this week:  Knocked out two of my observations for my Masters program and both went really well, David packed up the first couple boxes while I was at school on Thursday and our taxes came in!
Movement: Most days it feels like he's playing the drums on my stomach from the inside, or he's trying to escape by pushing straight out. Not always comfy.
Food cravings:  Nothing really weird this week.  Still loving fruit (especially canned pears), and since talking about the local seafood place opening up for the season, I've been dreaming of some fried shrimp and lobster bisque.
Gender: Boy!
Labor Signs: Nope, and it needs to stay that way.
Belly Button in or out?  In. But way shallower.
What I miss: Being able to go, go, go. Any other semester I'd be able to easily juggle working full time, buying a house, and a full semester but this baby makes me so tired and I need to sit more than I used to.  I feel like I should be able to get so much more done but then I'm just too tired.
What I am looking forward to: Getting this house clean! We've had a commitment every single day/night for the past two weeks and the house has definetly suffered for it. Today's plans include laundry, dishes, and cleaning everything! Hoping to get some boxes packed as we clean!
Weekly Wisdom:  TJ Maxx is the greatest store in the world.
Milestones:  I can now say I'm due in 2 months (and 2 days)!
