Have a SUPER Movie Night with MARVEL Granola Bars! #MARVELSnackBar

School is definitely in session again and we're back to laying out clothes and packing lunches before bed. Unfortunately, the snacks meant for school, were disappearing before they could get into lunch boxes so we had to do a quick run to Target to pick up some more lunch packables! We like to stick to better for you options like applesauce, fruit and granola bars. Imagine Emma's excitement when she saw her favorite MARVEL superheroes on her granola bars! We're big MARVEL fans and Emma tried to smooth talk me into buying them so that she could "get superhero powers too'! I must admit though, it was an easy sell, they are nutritious, affordable and come in chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate chip flavors!

Emma's school is peanut free so we grabbed a couple boxes of MARVEL chocolate chip chewy granola bars and started to head out, however, I was met with cries of "Can we please have a movie party?!" as we walked by the popcorn section. Being back at work everyday has absolutely cut into my fun time with her and her brother so I was happy to oblige to a movie theater night! We added some chocolate candies, MARVEL themed flavored waters and popcorn to the carriage and headed home.

A couple nights later we set up for our movie night and had a few friends over. I loved having healthier snacks to offer our guests and everything looked amazing on our superhero table cloth!

Because we're lovers of all things MARVEL, I added a reusable shopping bag and some collectible toy figures that we owned to the table to make it even more super! Dave pretended that his granola bar was Thor's hammer, and even went as far as printing out the top of the hammer to tape to his bar! MARVEL Super Hero Snack Bars are 40% bigger than the average granola bar (normally 24g), which definitely made them feel more super!

I also loved how each bar had a different character on it!

There are six different wrappers: Captain America, Hulk, Spider Man, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Thor. I was a bit sad that we didn't get the Hulk in our first box, but we did get the other 5 characters! I grabbed a Spider Man, David had a Captain America, and Emmalee, of course, chose "the girl": Black Widow!

On the back of the box, there is a collectible card you can cut out as well! Each box has a different card and there are 4 cards total: Hulk, Iron Man, Hawk Eye, and Spider Man. I may have chosen this box because it had Spider Man; he's always been my favorite!

Emmalee had a blast at her superhero movie night and I was happy to have snacks that were both nutritious and delicious! Our guests had a blast too! The MARVEL theme was a hit with both children and adults and the few leftovers we had made their way into Emma's lunchbox for Monday!

We had a blast at our Movie theater night, but I'm also loving all the super ideas at the MARVEL hub. You'll have to let me know which ideas are your favorite!

Snacks fit for #DisneySide Royalty: Go Go Squeez, Pirate's Booty and AquaBall!

Disclaimer: Some of the snacks mentioned below were provided for our party in exchange for a mention in our Disney post, however I wanted to share them even more!

I shared a bit about our #DisneySide @Home Celebration but I wanted to share a bit more about the amazing FOOD companies that helped make it happen!

Emma and I were dreaming of a Princess Tea Party so we knew we needed a particular type of food: delicious, yummy SNACKS! It would have been super easy to just buy some brownies, cupcakes, and candy and call it a day but the three year old and I try and make healthier choices so we knew we needed some food items that were better for us, as well as taste delicious!

First on Emma's list of "must haves": Go Go Squeez! We LOVE Go Go Squeez around here! And around here, we means the 9 month old to the 31 year old. Portable apple sauce that is all natural and nut, grain, and dairy free! We had some pouches out on the table and included a pouch in everyone's goody bag!

When you think Disney Jr, you probably think of Sophia the First, Doc McStuffins, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates! Pirates means Pirate's Booty!

This delicious BAKED puffed corn is a gluten free snack with no artificial preservatives or colors. We love the Aged White Cheddar and everyone else must have because it was all gobbled up!

Pirate's Booty offers a wide range of snacks (and mac n cheese!!) that both my kids, and my husband, love to snack on!

These AquaBall! naturally favored waters were PERFECT with the Disney Princesses on them! The Princess waters are naturally Fruit Punch flavored, but the have Orange Splash Planes themed waters, Berry Frost Frozen themed waters, Orange Mickey Mouse themed water, and Avengers themed Grape water! The girls loved choosing their favorite princess!

We had such a blast at our #DisneySide @Home Celebration and think these were the perfect snacks! What snacks sounds like something your little one (or you!) would love?

#DisneySide Princess Tea Party Turned 29th Birthday Party

"I received free products in order to host a DisneySide @Home Celebration. The opinions expressed here are my own. "

Ever feel like you're NOT supposed to do something?
This party was it. We scheduled our party 3 separate times but our (not so) friend, SNOW showed up and ruined it each time! So we figured we love and celebrate Disney everyday so we would host a party when our family came to gather! Instead of it being the first weekend of February, we ended up having a #DisneySide @Home Celebration for my 29th birthday! How fun!

There is so much to this party that I'll be sharing posts little by little!
First up: the delivery!
We shared our unboxing when it first arrived: Disney sent us so much great stuff!

Literally, everything we needed for a Princess inspired tea party, complete with plates, napkins, tea, nail polish, treat cups, Palace Pets, Duff cake mix, and decorations!

We ended up with a pretty low key party because I flew home from Vegas the day before and was still exhausted but we had so much fun!
In addition to the amazing #DisneySide box we recieved, GoGo Squeez, Pirates Booty, and AquaBall all contributed snacks to the event!

It was such an amazing Princess Party and a great way to ring in 29 years old!
Thanks so much Disney!

Home Update - 1 year in!

We're a year in the house and we've been making our way through each room.  I feel like every project takes so long and each project...
