One of the big attractions near our house is King Richard's Faire in Carver. It's a seasonal medieval faire that really submerses you in the old world.
King Richard offers fun for the whole family with mobile performers, the Royal Zoo, and special events like a tattoo contest, a Princess costume contest, and an adult cosplay contest! There are TONS of artisan shops set up, games like sword throwing and dragon riding for children, and even unicorn rides!
As fun and exciting as the stage shows are, the real reason we go is for the food. Well, the husband goes for one reason: the turkey leg.
As soon as you mention the phrase "King Richard" he starts salivating for that turkey leg...
This trip we got to experience something new! When we brought Emmalee before, she was barely one and a half. This time around, she knows all the princesses and her mouth dropped open when she saw Princess Snow!
Princess Snow held a Princess in Training course and Emma was just smitten! They worked on manners and how to be a princess to the whole planet. It was adorable!
We had such a fun time and can't wait to go back!
Thankfully, there are three more weekends to go check it out!
King Richard will be keeping his faire open from10:30 am - 6 pm each Saturday and Sunday until October 19th!
