To try and put this all into one post is like trying to hold everything you want to buy at Kate Spade without a shopping bag... it's just not going to happen.
Consider this the readers digest version, but still long and super picture heavy.
I promise, in the coming weeks, I'll have even more in depth posts for you!
So, to begin, this was my first large scale blogging conference and I wasn't sure what to expect.
Blogger Bash didn't have any of the uncomfortable classes, but instead was a super huge networking event.
Being only in New York, 4 hours away, Dave and I loaded the kids into the car and made a weekend out of it.
Thursday night was Sweet Suite 2014.
Lots and lots of brands and bloggers in one space.
being my first event ever led to a good amount of anxiety for the first 15 minutes but I quickly settled into the groove.
And if that wasn't enough, the Angry Birds Stella After Party was amazing too!
Hot dog vendor, taco vendor, the most delicious drinks ever, seriously-someone get me the recipe for the Holy Gale now!
The trip back to my hotel may be my favorite story.
I left and was on the street corner that heads back towards my hotel.. As others came out, I asked if anyone was walking that way. IT was 11 o clock at night and I just didn't think walking 8 blocks through the West Side was a good idea...
The sweetest girl goes "I'm driving, I can drop you off", and that's when I got in a complete stranger's car in the middle of New York City. Oops.
Ps. Her name is Jill and she's adorable. Check out her blog here.
A quick sleep and back off to Location 05 for a Bat-tastic Breakfast!
The rest of the day was seriously a blur.
Multiple parties happening in multiple rooms.
Tyler needs to be nursed and I had to keep leaving to go be with him.
My feet started to hurt so then I just pumped but I still missed out on a ton. Boo.
But the high lights included:
Speed Dating with LOTS of brands.
It was great to go back to brands I had hit it off with during Sweet Suite and I had a chance to introduce myself to other brands that hadn't been there the night before.
A media panel that I missed out on because of the previously mentioned, extremely hungry little two month old.
Lunch hosted by Johnny Rockets, complete with a custom made milkshake!
Babypalooza was one of my favorite events.
With a 2 month old, it was so fun seeing the great products being brought out by companies like JJ Cole, Joovy, Britax, Bob, and boon. There were also Sprinkles cupcakes and Jamberry manicures!
While Babypalooza was happening, there were other tables set up throughout the space that included more Chicken Soup for the Soul food and sponsors like Peanuts, MZ Wallace, NetGear, Korus and SpeakingPhoto.
As Babypalooza wrapped up, EA Events was starting in another studio.
I walked in to a line, which I obviously stood in, and I was happy I did! Covergirl lipgloss, a Jet Set Dress, and a tote to carry it all in!
After getting out of line, Covergirl was offering make overs, Smokey the Bear was taking pictures, Alex's Lemonade Stand was raising awareness and the Wubble Bubble Ball was amazing! There was a raffle table and information about the upcoming Affiliate Summit also taking place in New York; I would LOVE to go to it!
Of course, little man made it clear that I needed to go back to the hotel and nurse him so I missed the excitement that included Joey Fortman up on a bar! I did, however snag a "mamarita" and an amazing travel wine glass courtesy of Nick Moms. I'm also very sure I saw a half naked firefighter but don't tell the hubs...

When I was done nursing the little man, my husband came with me to check out the KidzVuz party!
We had to make a longer than expected quick stop at the Game Truck parked outside. My husband was in man heaven and he almost didn't want to come inside!
The KidzVuz Back to School Party was very different than the rest of the Blogger Bash.
It may just be because I didn't have children in the age range but it felt different. I took some time to walk around and look at the tables that featured Hasbro, Lands End, Guardians of the Galaxy, School Specialty, Unikey, and Star Stable but the event was definitely geared more towards children.
Natalya and Darren Young from the WWE were taking pictures but the line of kids made it slightly awkward to stand there and wait so we passed.
Sadly, we only stayed for about an hour at the KidzVuz party but the entire event was more than just that one party and I'm still in awe of how amazing everything was!
Thank you Charlene, Laurie, Stephanie, Joey, Ali, Marissa, and Tina!
This event would not have happened without you and I am so excited, and anxious, to hear about next year!
